House of Cairn makes apps that keep your data on your phone. This page covers our apps and this website. Where an app works differently, its own section below says how.
What our apps collect
- Nothing about you is sent to us. Our apps have no accounts, no analytics or tracking tools, and no advertising.
- What you enter or what an app records stays on your device, in the app's own storage, and in your device's backup if you use one.
- You can delete it at any time in the app, or by deleting the app.
Crash reports
If you've agreed to share diagnostics with Apple or Google in your phone's settings, they may pass anonymous crash reports to us. We use them only to fix bugs.
Linecheck
Linecheck measures your connection from your phone. Its records of checks, outages and your plan stay on your phone. Speed tests send test data to and from Cloudflare's speed-test servers, which see your phone's IP address like any website you visit; Linecheck doesn't send them your results. Device scans run only on networks you mark as your own. Reports you export leave out your network's name and your devices unless you choose to include them.
Cuecard
Cuecard records video with your camera and saves it to your device. Speech that moves your script along is recognised on your phone; no audio leaves it.
This website
This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs to run and protect the site.
